Online RV Park and Bait Shop

Well, we were at the beach this weekend, less than a week-and-a-half after the snow, and just five days before Christmas (and we never left Texas). Here are the highlights of the trip:

First, the pelicans...

The trouble started when some of the locals picked up on Bria's fishing abilities. "That thing must be THIS big!"

They followed her to the Moondancer! Click HERE to see some video footage.

Then came the staring contest.

Guess who won.

And would you believe it was warm enough to swim on Saturday?

Here's a VIDEO of the girls wading into the surf.
And HERE they are completely dunked.

Oh, and we build mudcastles.

The boat sure does look swell Clark.
I think Wood John is trying to give Clark Griswold a run for his money.

And on Sunday, the weather got a bit rough!
Check it out.

Hope Wood John didn't do all that decorating on your account!

ARTIST'S CORNER

Even though the late Gracie Fulton was not orignially from the Lone Star State, she was truly a Texan at heart. She told me more times than I can remember, "You Texans are so like Rhodesian farmers. We are all brothers and sisters." While we will miss her very badly, I'm thankful she was able to finish her wonderful book.

These musicians all have roots back to good ol' Santa Fe, TX.
